I have to say that I am pretty impressed with guys coming all the way from SA way for a hillclimb. You must be as mad as me! Top work.

Yep Cazz said you should

seriously nice engine but getting fuel that it would run well on became more and more of a problem. It was best on Avgas.

Hey Guys that was me. I didn't go home disappointed but rather kicking myself.
I mostly drive an EVO 6 which wasn't ready because I was/still am being let down by the workshop that has had my engine since last November.
The EVO has a fire extinguisher which I forgot to swap over. Totally my fault, and not wanting to drill holes in my daily so I decided to give the day away. It was too wet to be a spectator so opted for a coffee instead.
I appreciate very much the effort the scrutineers made to help me out. They certainly did do their best.
All I can say is its the competitor responsibility to make sure their cars are ready and next time I will not make the same mistake.

We did have one competitor who turned up without a fire extinguisher and apparently decided that it was easier to go home than to go into Moe to get one. I do not like to see people go home disappointed.

Phew, I am happier to see it being a decision not to drill holes in a nice car (Although I still do not like people going home without a run)

The spectating ended up not too bad in the end but it was certainly a day for the committed (Or perhaps people like me who maybe should be committed)

Comitted was my wife in the ute with 3 kids!  I cant wait for the next one, just picked up a set of soft semis which are perfect for hill climbs.  BRING IT ON!
